Sourced from a single south facing site in Summertown, planted to D5V12. Due to poor weather during flowering, yields in 2024 were approximately 25% of a normal crop. This coupled with a warm, but consistent summer has led to a wine of extreme concentration. Fermented with 20% whole bunch, and after a 5 day cold soak, a wild fermentation began. After 20 days on skins, the wine was pressed and after settling overnight it was barrelled down to a second fill barrel for 9 months aging, before racking to bottle without fining or filtering.
